CT Alpha is a student club from the Department of Chemical Technology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. Our mission is to digitalize the student society and empower students to become future leaders in chemical engineering.

What is Chemical Technology?

In Thailand, Chemical Technology began at Chulalongkorn University in 1959 as the country’s first pathway to modern chemical engineering education.

  • Integrates math, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, and engineering to design and operate processes that turn raw materials into products.
  • Early focus also covered technologies for emerging industries such as ceramic and food technology.
  • Served as the starting point for chemical engineering education in Thailand.
